Nursing students of IVA paramedical campus Panadura branch provided daily essential dry ration to poor families with low income, from the amount of money voluntarily donated by the students belonging to this particular group and from the money found as support through the dedication and hard work of the students belonging to the group. Each essential grocery pack contains 5 essential items that would sustain a family of four for two-three weeks.
A maximum of Five low-income families were selected randomly from Panadura and Moratuwa areas and given a dry ration bag containing essential food and daily needs. The group is supported by voluntary donations and community support as well.
Now more than ever, kindness and compassion are needed in the world.
