Visit to Sirimavo Bandaranayake Specialized (Teaching) Children’s Hospital Kandy

Nursing students of IVA Paramedical Campus Kandy visited ward two of Sirimavo Bandaranayake Specialized (Teaching) Children’s Hospital on 29th December 2022 in order to implement the community development project. Students participated to clean and rearrange the ward and the storeroom of the hospital and offered refreshments for the children as well. Moreover, they provided the opportunity for the children to engage in some drawing activities in order to distract the children from their illnesses. Students got an opportunity to participate in an awareness program conducted by the hospital staff.
